To create a Gmail account, please visit www.gmail.com. Once there, follow these steps:

Click the button “Create an account” in the top right corner. You will then be prompted to fill in your personal information.

The sign in and create account options available on google. Sign in is to the left and create account is on the right.

The page where you would create your google account. It reads Create your Google Account to continue to Gmail, with fields to write your first and last name, username, password and a password confirm field.

2. Fill in your first and last name. The name you use will be visible to anyone who receives an email from you. You will have the ability to change your name later on in the Gmail settings. Choose a username that will be associated with your email (example: JohnSmith21).

3. Create a password. Make sure your password contains numbers, letters and special characters (example: CocoPuffs34%).

4. Verify your phone number. Google requires you to share your phone number so they can send you a security code to verify that you are a real person. The only time Google will use your phone number is to verify your identity. Once you type your phone number in, Google will send you a numerical code (example: G-12345). Once you enter the correct code, you will be redirected to your Gmail inbox.
